Johan Nus started classical dance at the age of 5. As a teenager, he obtained his diplomas from the Royal Academy of Dance with honors, before earning his State Diploma in classical dance. At the same time, Johan obtained his Master's degree in Industrial Economics from the Faculty of Economics at Nancy II. His passion for multidisciplinarity led him to study contemporary dance at the Lyon National Conservatory of Dance, as well as singing and theater.

After dancing roles in the repertoire and participating in numerous contemporary creations, Johan auditioned for the show "Snow White," directed by Jean Luc Moreau at the Folies-Bergère. From then on, he embarked on a career in musicals and opera houses, performing in works such as "Fiddler on the Roof," "Grease," "My Fair Lady," "La vie Parisienne," "The Medium" by Menotti, "Les Mamelles de Tirésias" by Poulenc, and "Aladdin."

For the past fifteen years, he has choreographed numerous musical shows for several major theaters. For example, he participated in the creation of "Do I Look Like Arletty?" (Molière Award for Best Musical Show 2020) and "Frozen" (Molière Award for Young Audience 2023) at the Comédie-Française. He created "Madiba" in Australia after the French version. In addition to family shows like "Tom Sawyer," "Peter Pan," "The Little Match Girl," the audience can also find Johan in the shows "Twisted Vegas" or "Magical Dreams" in Las Vegas.

Johan Nus has created numerous ballets such as "The Wall" and "Swan Lake on Water," as well as operas like "Carmen" and "Carmina Burana." Highly acclaimed in France and abroad, many of his shows, ballets, and operas continue their international tours for several seasons.

He is also the choreographer for the 20th Anniversary Parade of Disneyland Paris and participates in numerous events for this prestigious institution every year. Johan creates tailor-made events for Amazon in Paris, Hermès in Japan, Elephant Live in Malaysia, the Pierre Cardin Foundation, as well as for the Salon du Chocolat for seven seasons and for Coca-Cola at Olympia, among others.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Johan also lends his talent to magazines, advertisements, and music videos. He is the artistic director of various international television programs, such as “Idol”, "Got Talent," "X Factor," and "Mask Singer."

Johan Nus is part of the group "Les Ménilmontant," signed with Sony Classical music. He participates in the creation of the show based on the album. He made his first directorial debut with "La Petite Sirene" at the Olympia, then "L'Arche de Noé" at the Palais des Congrès, and "The Sound of Music" for an opera tour.
